We believe it is important that all students take pride in their appearance and arrive at school dressed appropriately and ready to learn. Wearing the uniform correctly demonstrates pride in our school community and shows that you are part of a team that values learning and personal development. 

Year 7 Intake: Starting in September 2026, all Year 7 students will be expected to wear our updated uniform and branded items.

Availability: These updated logo items will be available for purchase from Brenda’s starting in early July.

Our uniform expectations are as follows:

  • Jumper: Navy blue branded sweatshirt (available from Brenda’s).
  • Polo Shirt: Plain white branded polo shirt (available from Brenda’s).
  • Trousers/Shorts: Plain black, tailored trousers or shorts. Shorts may be worn year-round.
  • Skirt: Plain black pleated skirt, worn at a sensible length (on or just above the knee).
  • Tights/Leggings: Tights should be plain black or natural and in good repair. Plain black leggings may be worn, but only underneath a skirt.
  • Socks: Plain black or white, ankle-length.
  • Shoes: Smart, black, polishable, and weatherproof shoes with a maximum 1.5-inch heel. No visible logos.  For example: 

Boots, plimsolls, trainers and pumps are NOT permitted. 

Coats: All students must have a waterproof coat or jacket. Please note that hoodies and training tops are not acceptable as substitutes for a coat.

Jewellery: students are only permitted to wear:

  • One discreet, flat ring.
  • One plain, thin, removable bracelet.
  • One pair of plain stud earrings.
  • One small, plain nose stud.

Piercings: No other visible jewellery is permitted. For any unauthorised piercings, students must use small, clear retainers to ensure they are not visible.

Make-Up

Make-up should be discreet and natural in style. This includes the use of fake eyelashes. Nails should be a natural colour and, for safety, of a short length. 

No other extremes of fashion are acceptable. Extremes of hairstyle or hair colour are not permitted. It will be the school’s final decision as to what is and what is not acceptable. If students or parents/ carers are unsure about the suitability of clothing for school, please contact the school before purchasing.

PE Kit

Compulsory items for PE:

  • Navy training top with embroidery

You may also wish to purchase: 

  • Plain black shorts 
  • Plain black skort
  • Plain black sports leggings
  • Plain black tracksuit bottoms in the winter months
  • Plain navy 1/4 zip training top
  • Navy and white rugby shirt

Other branded items of sports wear are available at Brenda’s. 

It is strongly advised that all students also purchase a gumshield to go in their PE kit bag.  This is for use in contact PE sports such as hockey and rugby.  Students are also advised to wear shin pads for football lessons.
