Determined Admission Arrangements for 2027-2028
Sandhurst School have determined its Admission Arrangements for Year 7 entry in September 2027. A copy can be viewed below, along with a copy of the decision report summarising the consultation outcome.
Information regarding the application process for Year 7 entry in September 2027 will be published from 12 September 2026, when the application process opens.
Admissions Procedure
All admissions are processed through Bracknell Forest Council. Please visit ‘Starting Secondary School’ for more information about how and when to apply.
When do I apply: For September 2026 entries – Applications open in September 2025 and close in October 2025

In-Year Applications
If you wish to apply for a place for your child outside of the Year 7 round above because you have recently moved to the area or wish to move your child to Sandhurst School, then you will need to complete an in-year application form.
In-year applications are made through Bracknell Forest Council; please visit their website to make an application.
- Sandhurst School Admission Arrangements 2024-2025 will be used for all in-year applications.
Following a successful application, you will be contacted by a member of our senior leadership team who will discuss the transfer to ensure a smooth transition. At this point, we will ask you to complete a student enrolment form.

For students applying to join during Year 10 or 11, consideration will need to be given to your preferred KS4 option choices and these will be subject to availability. Year 9 students who join after February half-term will be asked to select their options for Year 10 KS4. If you have any questions at any stage, please contact us via our school reception.
