Please watch out for a letter concerning Internet Safety Issues and your invitation to a parent/carer meeting on Tuesday 18th June 2013.
This letter should come home with your son/daughter on Friday 24th May 2013.

Police are becoming concerned about the increased numbers of students in the borough who are “sexting”. The application “Snapchat”, available on Iphone and Android phones purports to delete images within 10 seconds of viewing.
These images, however, can be recovered using simple technology and software downloadable from the internet.
Teenagers who are using this application for inappropriate sending of text, images and or video should be made aware of the consequences of doing so and these have been highlighted in recent assemblies.
We would strongly recommend that students are discouraged from using this type of application as in some situations it may have serious repercussions.
