About Romer House
Romer House is a thriving community of individuals. Our House aim is for every member to feel valued, included and proud to belong. As a team the Romer staff work hard to promote thoughtfulness and consideration to our students. This is evident in the way students interact with one another to establish a ‘family’ atmosphere within the nine tutor groups. We pride ourselves that Romer is friendly, caring and supportive; we are not just a house but a community and together with our strengths combined we can live up to our motto ‘anything is possible’.
The students in Romer house are enthusiastic and willing to get involved in activities regardless of the outcome. Over the years one of our strengths is winning the house point trophy showing that Romer students have a good work ethic and excellent participation in school life. We are up against tough competition this year from Gemini but I am sure the Romer House determination will see us victorious. In addition to this, another one of our achievements is the large number of young ambassadors we have, including currently, the highest number of prefects and students who have received their House/School colours.
I am excited to see what this year brings, what we can achieve together and look forward to celebrating our future successes. Maybe Sports Day…? Finally I would just like to say it is a pleasure to lead Romer house and witness the drive and determination of the students.
