Sandhurst Radio Station continues to be one of the most exciting and dynamic opportunities for our students here at Sandhurst. Established back in September 2007 with some very hard work from Mr Doree, the radio continues to provide both quality entertainment to all the users of the school canteen and a fun and worthwhile project for young people to develop and learn from. Since its birth, the radio team has grown in size and we now have a large number of DJ and support teams working through every available opportunity to provide high quality entertainment.
We broadcast worldwide via the internet on Radio Bracknell on a Saturday morning and have regular podcasts and shows available to listen to via the school website, giving a truly 'global' feel.
The radio station also hosts the very popular ‘Live Friday’ shows in the canteen. This is a great opportunity to showcase new and upcoming talent during lunchtime. This has proved to be a real breeding ground for some of the school's younger talent and students really enjoy the challenge of singing to their friends in the canteen.
The nicest thing for me about being part of the team is that the 
station very much belongs to the students. They have a huge amount of ownership over show choices, music choices, competitions etc… It’s a really nice way for the students to come together, supporting each other and sharing their ideas to work as a team to produce a professional product. With some very exciting opportunities coming our way very soon, Sandhurst Radio continues to be a very exciting place to be.
