USA 1919-1929

Race Relations: USA 1954-1968
How did a 9 year old challenge segregation? Who were the Little Rock 9? Why did Rosa Parks refuse to move? These are just some of the questions we’ll ask. We’ll also focus on the role of Martin Luther King and Malcolm X and much more!
The Cold War: 1945-1990
Exactly how close did we come to World War 3? The answer could really scare you! Find out how and why America and the USSR fell out and explore such things as why a city in Europe had a wall built around it. A study of the cold war allows you to understand exactly why Europe, America and Russia is as it is today!
USA and Vietnam
Why did America get involved in a country half way round the world? What was the average age of a US soldier? Why did America withdraw? These are questions that could be posed about conflicts today but we’ll focus on the events of the 1960s and 1970s.
