The Sandhurst School History Department consists of five specialist teachers dedicated to the cause of making history as enjoyable as possible. Based in a suite of three rooms and armed with a fearsome arsenal of resources, they work tirelessly to think of new ways of making sense of the complexities of the past. The department believes that lessons should fit the wide variety of learning styles our students possess. To do this the staff attempt to use an equally varied array of teaching activities including analysing genuine historical artifacts, field visits, role play activities and computer reconstruction.
