Sandhurst School enjoys a highly active and busy Drama Department. We offer drama from year seven, through GCSE, right up to the sixth form. We currently enjoy a high uptake at GCSE and have recently added the BTEC Performing Arts Course to our quickly expanding sixth form provision, which includes A-Level Theatre Studies.

The school has recently spent over £100 000 on refurbishing the school theatre and we now have new lighting and sound equipment in both of our major teaching spaces.

Recent productions have included "Lord of the Flies, A Midsummer Nights Dream, Grease, Peter Pan and Oliver" and there are currently two school productions in rehearsal which are both proving to be exciting and innovative ventures.

Standards and expectations are high and we are very proud of the success and high standards our students achieve. The Drama Department has a very positive and exciting vibe and continues to develop in new and exciting ways.
